HearYou.org was founded out of a passion to create timely access to confidential and affordable mental health services for California. Our services are accessible to residents throughout the entire state. With a variety of experienced clinicians, we have a counselor that will fit your needs offering therapy to individuals, couples, and families. You are important and we are here to listen, support, and guide you through any obstacle life may bring.
Frequently Asked Questions
HearYou.org services are available to individuals 5 years old and above residing in California. Parental consent may be required for individuals under 18 years of age. All services must be deemed clinically appropriate by the counselor at the time of service.
Our counselors are dedicated to serving the mental health needs of California residents. They are licensed therapists and clinically supervised associates and trainees.
All counselors are HearYou.org employees. They are interviewed and screened through rigorous background checks and associates and trainees attend weekly supervision from licensed therapists.
We offer confidential and affordable online counseling services for individuals, couples, and families.
Your mental health is not for profit. We offer 50-minute counseling sessions at a flat fee of $65, which is half the cost of the average 50-minute counseling session in California.
Working with the same counselor can help promote therapeutic growth. It is your choice to remain with them or contact your Care Coordinator to find someone who may be a better fit for your counseling goals.

Your counselor utilizes a HIPAA secure video conferencing platform to communicate with you confidentially via video sessions and secure messaging. Your Care Coordinator will get you set up on the platform when you schedule your first session.
There is no limit to how long services can be used. Length of services will be determined by you and your counselor based on your needs.
All major credit, debit and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards are accepted for payment at the time of your session. At this time, HearYou.org does not accept insurance, however, receipts or invoices may be provided for sessions.
The California Board of Behavioral Sciences recognizes Telehealth as an effective mode of delivering counseling services. HearYou.org counselors utilize evidence-based interventions to help you meet your counseling goals.
Sessions are conducted on a secure Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) platform. Our counselors take all precautions to safeguard your information.
